Chronic Leukemia treatment
Hematologists treat a wide range of illnesses because abnormalities in peripheral blood counts can either be a primary sign of hematologic disease or a subsequent reaction to a systemic illness. They include "primary" hematologic conditions like sickle cell disease and hemophilia, as well as premalignant conditions like myelodysplasia and myeloproliferative neoplasms. They also include cytopenias, which are a complex reaction to conditions like renal disease, liver disease, systemic inflammatory disease, autoimmune disease, or systemic infections. Blood stem cells, which are immature, are typically produced by the bone marrow and develop into mature blood cells over time. Myeloid stem cells or lymphoid stem cells can develop from blood stem cells. Too many blood stem cells develop into aberrant lymphocytes in CLL. Leukemia cells are another name for aberrant lymphocytes. Infection is not efficiently fought by these leukemia cells. Additionally, there is less room for healthy white blood cells, red blood cells, and platelets as the number of leukemia cells in the blood and bone marrow rises. Infection, anemia, and simple bleeding might result from this.
